That’s what we do

We build things that run smoothly, stay online, and look the way they should.

Built in-house

Design, code and delivery all happen on our own team. Nothing gets handed down to an agency.

Since 2022

We have been building for clients since 2022, with more than 100 projects delivered.

Software to robots

Custom software, websites, automation, AI and robotics all sit under one roof.

Direct line

You talk to the engineers building your project, not to a layer of account managers.
Trusted by the teams we build for

Working across Europe

Slovenia is home. We build for companies in Austria, Germany, Croatia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Portugal, and ship remotely further afield.

A dotted map of Europe. The countries we work in are picked out in lighter tones and linked back to Slovenia: Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Croatia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Portugal.

From concept to production, handled in-house.

We build systems that last not demos or half-finished ideas. Each project is different, but the goal stays the same: make it lean, fast, and reliable.

The most expensive part of this website

Certificates held by us and the providers we build on. SOC 2 and ISO 27001 stand for audited security practice, ISO 27701 and GDPR for how personal data is handled, and the EU AI Act mark means we build AI the way the regulation expects. Compliance is part of the build here, not an upsell.

How we think

Two habits behind a hundred shipped projects.

Small scope is a feature. A narrow tool people use every day beats a platform nobody finishes learning.
WMinus, on scoping
Everything we ship is written at our own desks. The people who built your system are the ones who answer for it.

Why us

01

Built in-house

Design, code and delivery happen on our own team, under one roof. Nothing is passed down to an agency or a freelance marketplace.

02

Senior team only

The engineers who scope your project are the ones who build it, with more than 100 delivered projects behind them since 2022.

03

One team from scope to production

The same people plan the work, write the code, ship it and keep it running. No handovers, no lost context between departments.

Are You a Researcher, Educator, or NonProfit Leader?

We offer free resources to non-profit organizations, schools, and researchers. Leverage our tools and data to enhance your research and educational efforts, at no cost.

How we work

No subcontractors, no handoffs. The person who scopes your project writes the code.

We choose boring technology that runs for years over frameworks that demo well.

A hundred projects taught us one lesson: small scopes ship.

FAQ

Questions we actually get

Something else on your mind? info@wminus.com

How do you handle GDPR?

By architecture, not by checkbox. Data stays in EU regions, we collect the minimum the feature needs, processing agreements are standard, and where the data is genuinely sensitive we deploy on premise, so it never leaves your building at all.

Where do our systems run?

In cloud accounts that belong to you, typically Cloudflare or an EU-region provider, or on your own infrastructure. We set it up and run it, but the accounts, domains and keys are yours from day one. Fully on-premise deployments, including local AI models, are a normal option, not an exception.

Who owns the code?

You do. Repositories, infrastructure access and documentation are handed over as part of the engagement, not held hostage after it. If you later want to run everything without us, the handover is clean.

How does Venture Build work in practice?

The engineering is identical to any client project: our in-house team builds the product. The difference is commercial: instead of a full fee we agree a share of the upside before work starts, as equity, revenue share, or a reduced fee plus upside. Several products already run on this model. It is not free work and not an accelerator.

Can you take over an existing system?

Yes, and it is common. We start by reading the code and mapping what is actually there, then agree on what to fix first. A full rewrite is the last resort, not the default.

What does maintenance look like after launch?

Monitoring, updates and further development under an agreed scope, with the same engineers who built the system. Or none of that, if you prefer to run it yourself: it is your code either way.
